Mark J. ChiarelloMark grew up in a small town in upstate NY, graduated with a BA from the State University of New York at Oneonta, and served as a Non-Commissioned officer in the Marine Corps infantry. He first came to Winston-Salem to pursue a JD/MBA at Wake Forest University, and left promptly after graduation. After a couple of years working in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, he developed a new appreciation for Winston-Salem. Mark returned to Winston-Salem and had the good fortune to work in a small firm with a generous mentor for several months before starting a solo practice in 2004.
Mark believes very deeply in the value of community and takes pride in supporting it in his practice. Real estate development, starting new business, and HOA management are some of the ways he helps people come together to build our city and region. He has provided pro bono support to several local non-profits including PFLAG and The Adam Foundation. Mark lives in a loft downtown with a Border Collie named ChuckNorris. When not hiking in the woods, they can often be found enjoying one of the many bars and restaurants the firm represents. |
